Sandusky Central Catholic School received a new school bus on Monday, March 23. The bus was a generous gift from Mr. Dan Shepherd and other donors who were inspired by his lead gift of $60,000. The new bus seats up to 71 students and will be put into service immediately transporting elementary and high school kids to sporting events, field trips and parish events.
Mr. Shepherd is a 1963 graduate of St. Mary Central Catholic High School and worked part-time as a bus driver for the Panthers for many years. He continues to support his alma mater and was happy to see the new bus filled with Panthers.
