Fifth grade teacher Mr. Toby Notestine is assigning the responsibility of putting up and taking down the American every day to his 5th grade students. Groups of 3 students will be assigned the duty on a rotating basis. As a member of the U.S. Army Reserves, Mr. Notestine taught his kids about proper treatment of the flag including how to fold it correctly and care for it while raising and lowering.
The school recently received a brand new flag from the American Legion in Sandusky.
