Director of Advancement and Development
Description:
The Director of Advancement and Development will implement and supervise all aspects of the school’s development and fundraising work. The Director works closely with the President, the Board of Directors and the Sandusky Central Catholic School Education Foundation to provide leadership for the development program as it builds a strong culture of philanthropy throughout the school community and beyond. The Director is tasked with designing programs of giving that attract the maximum gift support possible for the school. The Director exercises leadership and administration in a manner set forth in the school’s mission statement and philosophy and in keeping with the faith-filled educational heritage of Sandusky Central Catholic School.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related area or five (5) or more years leading and
implementing successful fundraising campaigns, ideally within a non-profit, education-based organization.
Demonstrated success in meeting annual fund goals, major gifts programs, individual donor solicitations, sponsorships and special events.
Experience with fundraising software, Raiser’s Edge preferred; social media and website development.
